Vehicle Fitment

Fits 4WD models only (will not fit 2WD). Fits 4.2L V6, 4.6L V8 and 5.4L V8 engines. For 2005 models, fits trucks built from 01/03/2005 onward. Not for the 2004 F-150 Heritage (previous generation) — please verify your model year before ordering.

Installation (about 1 hour per side)

1. Loosen the lug nuts, raise and support the truck, remove the wheel.
2. Unplug the sensor connector and remove the mounting bolt.
3. Pull the old sensor out and clean the mounting hole and hub surface.
4. Install the new sensor, routing the harness exactly like the original.
5. Reconnect, refit the wheel, torque the lug nuts to 150 ft-lbs.
6. Repeat on the other side, then drive a short distance — the ABS light should clear on its own.
