Fix the ABS warning light on your 2005–2008 F-150 without a dealer visit. This front ABS wheel speed sensor is a direct-fit replacement for the OE sensor on 2005–2008 Ford F-150 and 2006–2008 Lincoln Mark LT trucks — same mounting, same 2-pin connector, same signal. No cutting, no splicing, no programming.
Position: Front — fits either the driver or passenger side (both front corners use this same sensor).
Drivetrain: Fits 4WD (four-wheel drive) models only — this sensor will NOT fit 2WD trucks. For 2005 models, fits trucks built from 01/03/2005 onward. Not sure which sensor your truck uses? Message us your VIN and we'll verify before you order.

Key Features
- Direct OE replacement — factory-style 2-pin connector, plug and play
- Includes the wiring harness (the most common failure point on the original part)
- Active Hall-effect design for a clean signal at all speeds
- Sealed against road salt, mud, water and brake heat
- 100% function tested before shipping
Symptoms This Sensor Fixes
- ABS warning light staying on
- Traction control light on at the same time
- Front wheel speed sensor fault codes
- Speedometer reading erratically
- ABS kicking in at low speed, or failing to engage when it should
Installation (about 1 hour)
- Loosen the lug nuts, raise and support the truck, remove the wheel.
- Unplug the sensor connector and remove the mounting bolt (5mm Allen on most of these trucks).
- Pull the old sensor out and clean the mounting hole and hub surface.
- Install the new sensor, routing the harness exactly like the original.
- Reconnect, refit the wheel, torque the lug nuts to 150 ft-lbs.
- Drive a short distance — the ABS light should clear on its own.
Tip: on high-mileage trucks the old sensor can be tight with rust. Soak the bolt in penetrating oil first — and clean rust off the tone ring while you're in there to avoid false ABS trips.
Warranty

FAQ
Do I need one sensor or two?
One per wheel. Many owners replace both front sensors at once since they wear at similar rates — see our front pair set for both sides.
Is this the driver side or passenger side?
Both — the front left and front right use the same sensor on these trucks. Order one per wheel you're replacing.
Will it fit my 2004 F-150?
No. This sensor fits the 2005–2008 (new body) F-150. Message us with your VIN and we'll confirm the right part.
Does it fit 2WD trucks?
No — this sensor fits 4WD models only. If your F-150 is 2WD, this is not the right part; message us your VIN and we'll point you to the correct sensor.
Do I need a scan tool after installing?
No. The ABS module re-learns the signal on the next drive. If the light stays on, clear the stored codes with a scanner.
Why did my original sensor fail?
Almost always corrosion or debris at the sensor tip, or a broken wire in the harness — which is why this replacement includes the full harness.
